CELEBRITIES DAZZLED BY IAN SAUDE JEWELRY COLLECTION

(Los Angeles, CA) January 28, 2009 — Playful and flirtatious, Ian Saudē's new jewelry collection is garnering serious attention from young Hollywood.

For the Golden Globe Salute to Young Hollywood party in December 2008, actress Jennifer Morrison from the hit TV series 'House,' was thoroughly bejeweled in his eponymous jewelry line, from earrings to a pendant to a golden cuff bracelet.

Morrison wore the Ian Saudē Veronique necklace, connected to the matching bracelet. An array of asymmetrical links, this sculptural necklace includes an "invisible" clasp (like many of Saudē's pieces) that allows it to couple with the matching bracelet to add length. Completing the chain was his one-of-a kind Flame pendant, featuring diamond briolettes suspended from a massive piece of faceted rutilated quartz. The look perfectly complemented Morrison's Missoni dress.

Encircling her wrist was another one-off, Saudē's "Circles" cuff — a 1 3/4" band of 18k gold hand-cut mesh that takes a skilled artisan almost a month to produce. The piece is adorned with scattered blue moonstones and citrines in various pastel hues.

She also donned an oversized cocktail ring of kunzite and diamonds, called "Driftwood" from Saude's south sea inspired Andaman collection. Matching Vendome earrings completed the picture. Stunning in their simplicity, they feature baroque-cut briolettes of imperial morganite suspended from thick diamond pavŽ cables. The top hoop is detachable for independent wear.

On another evening, at the opening party for the new Dolce & Gabbana L.A. flagship store, Morrison's ears were adorned with dazzling Reine earrings — black diamond orbs suspended from a graduated strand of bezel-set champagne diamonds. Mid-century modern, these swinging 60's-inspired earrings' dramatic dangles detach for casual wear, simplifying the transition from day to evening. They are also available in Saudē's signature combination of chocolate and champagne diamonds, and by special order in other fancy-shades of sapphires. She also wore, not one, but four Ian Saudē rings Ð his impressive Pearl Net ring and a stack of three Etoile pave rings, in chocolate, white and black diamonds.

Earlier in November, Jessica Biel wore Ian Saudē's 18k gold Piave II diamond hoops at the 2008 Rome Film Festival. The mid- size Piave II hoop has a subtle ombre effect — set with 1.45 ctw of diamonds that are shaded from white to mocca. Piave hoops are also available in other colors by special order.

Saudē often works with champagne, cognac and chocolate diamonds. "The quality I like best about these diamonds is their ability to flatter any skin tone." Saudē explains. "They are also fantastic when mixed with white or black diamonds. I've always been drawn to rich neutrals — they are my favorite go-to color palette of choice."
