Artist’s Statement: “The Tumble series is a result of my attraction to the ephemeral, to the contrast between complexity and evanescence. Inspired by my love for brambles, branches, tumbleweeds and knife patterns on aged cutting boards, Tumble allows me to lose myself in the therapeutic creation of spontaneous and unselfconscious lines, whose repetitive nature feels like our time during Covid-19 shelter-in-place.”
